Rabat is the administrative Capital of Morocco. It is one of the fourth imperial cities. It is located in the Atlantic Ocean with a population of over 1 Million. Rabat is not that very ancient in comparison with some other Moroccan cities, though it has also its significant history as well as it has some historical monuments and worth visited walls ruins.
Due it its location along the Atlantic coast The City of Rabat has a mild temperature. In winter, it normally ranges between 7 °C and about 17 °C during the day, but sometimes it can reach 0°C at night. In summer, it still pleasant, the highs is usually about 25°C with the daytime temperature. At nights it is usually between 11°C and 19°C.
The city has a main theatre that is the Theatre Mohammed V. there is also the music festival of Mawazin that takes place each year in Rabat during the Month of May with Moroccan and international Musicians.
The main sites that can attract visitors in the city are The Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Hassan Tower, River Bou Regreg and the Kasbah of the Udayas, Chellah Necropolis, and Saint-Pierre Cathedral.
The tramway Rabat-Salé which was put into service in 2011 makes it easier to move freely and comfortably.
